Friends of MSF at UT Dallas is a student chapter of Doctors Without Borders, we are an organization based on volunteering and fundraising for the purpose of both giving support to the international organization and doing our part in impacting our local community in a positive way.
Our mission is to prove that even the smallest act of compassion can make a huge difference when we all come together.
The International Chapter
Medecins Sans Frontieres or Doctors Without Borders is an independent, nonprofit, humanitarian organization founded in France on December 22, 1971. Focused on providing free medical aid to those who lack the access or resources due to politics, terrorism, disasters, poverty, and other life-altering aspects. MSF is a neutral network composed of a large international team of doctors, nurses, engineers, logisticians, financial administrators, and many other specialists. They work together to do all that is possible and give help to where it's needed most.
